Is Mears Connect cheaper than a private car service to Disney?

What replaced Disney's Magical Express?
Disney's Magical Express was discontinued in January 2022. Mears Transportation (the same operator that ran Magical Express) launched Mears Connect as the paid successor — a shared motor coach shuttle from MCO to Disney resorts. Unlike Magical Express, Mears Connect is not free and is not operated by Disney.
How long does Mears Connect take from MCO to my Disney resort?
Mears Connect waits at MCO until the motor coach is full (typically 20–30 minutes), then makes 3–7 resort stops before reaching yours. Total time from baggage claim to resort lobby is usually 90–150 minutes. Our private sedan does the same trip in 45–55 minutes, direct.
Does Mears Connect provide car seats for kids?
No. Mears Connect does not provide infant, toddler, or booster seats — Florida law allows shuttle exemptions, but you ride without one. Our private car service provides infant, convertible, and booster seats on request for an additional charge.
Can I use Mears Connect for Universal Orlando or hotels off Disney property?
No. Mears Connect only services Walt Disney World on-property resorts. For Universal, Loews hotels, the Convention Center, Bonnet Creek, Four Seasons Orlando, vacation rentals or off-property hotels you need a private car service or rideshare.
