MCO Airport Transportation Tips

Orlando International is enormous, beautifully run, and — at the wrong hour — chaotic. A handful of small choices about ground transportation can save 30 to 60 minutes on either end of your trip.

Know your terminal

MCO is divided into Terminal A, Terminal B, and the newer Terminal C. Your airline determines your terminal; your chauffeur needs to know it in advance to position correctly. Terminal C is a longer drive across the airport — build the extra time in.

Meet-and-greet beats curbside

Curbside pickup at MCO works, but baggage claim meet-and-greet is faster, calmer, and ends with a chauffeur carrying your bags to a luxury vehicle parked just steps from the door. For families and first-time visitors, it is worth every cent of what is usually a complimentary service from a premium chauffeur.

Avoid the rideshare staging lot at peak

From roughly 11 AM to 2 PM and 6 PM to 9 PM, the MCO rideshare staging lot delays are unpredictable. A pre-arranged Orlando car service operates outside that flow and reaches you faster.

Departure timing

For domestic flights, depart your hotel three hours before takeoff; for international, four hours. Add 30 minutes during convention weeks and spring break. Your chauffeur will time the pickup precisely once your departure time is locked.
